Overview
The Stellenbosch Section of the Mountain Club of South Africa (MCSA) (in Afrikaans: “BKSA – Bergklub van Suid-Afrika”) is situated at the foot of the Jonkershoek mountain range. It is one of the 14 sections of the MCSA. The object of the MCSA is to promote mountaineering in South Africa and at a smaller scale in the rest of the world.
Various mountain activities are offered by the club to its members as well as to guests. It includes family-friendly hiking routes and traditional hiking routes, kloofing, abseiling and rock climbing, to mention but a few.
